SEB Hand Martinsville Boys Basketball Loss

MARTINSVILLE -- St. Elmo/Brownstown trailed Martinsville 16-12 after the opening quarter but reversed the score to tie the game at 28-28 at halftime.

 

SEB then moved ahead with a 16-12 third period and finished out strong for a 61-53 non-conference victory in boys basketball Monday evening.

Andy Goldsborough connected on 10 of 14 from the field, including three of four from three-point range, and was three of five at the line for 26 points. Also in double figures were Jacob Baron with 13 and Gavyn Smith with 11.

The Bluestreaks had four players finish in double figures and shot better than SEB with 50 percent from the field, 45 percent from three-point range and 54 percent at the line.

SEB shot 47 precent from the field, 40 percent from three-point range and 50 percent at the line.
