WSS Downs Ramsey, Neoga Falls To Tri-County In Girls Action

RAMSEY -- Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg High School handed Ramsey a 65-44 non-conference loss in girls basketball action Tuesday.

Mikala Nichols led the winners with 24 poitns while Hannah Hayes added 14. Nichols pulled down 16 rebounds while Mariah Hoene had eight boards. Hayes had three steals and five assists.

At Neoga

Tri-County picked up a 68-38 victory over Neoga in non-conference action Tuesday.

Neoga held a 15-13 opening quarter lead but Tri-County got the lid off the basket in the second period with a 24-4 run and that was the game.

Phillips tallied 12 points while Ramert added 10 for Neoga. The Indians dropped to 6-5 on the season.

Neoga captured the junior varsity win, 40-27.
