Junior High Boys Basketball -- Nov. 23

The Bullpups fell to Greenville, 35-30. In the second contest, St. Anthony lost to Salem, 48-47 in overtime.

St. Anthony now has a 1-3 eighth-grade record.

In seventh-grade action, St. Anthony defeated Salem, 36-19.

Ryan Schmidt led the Bullpups with 17 points while Samuel Link tallied 10.

In the second contest, St. Anthony defeated Greenville, 40-28. St. Anthony held a 19-12 halftime lead. Link scored 11 points for the winners.

At Louisville

North Clay (Louisville) played host to Altamont Saturday.and picked up both victories.

North Clay won the seventh-grade contest, 41-33. Altamont held a 12-5 opening quarter lead but North Clay took a 22-15 halftime lead. The score was knotted at 30-30 going into the final period when North Clay had an 11-3 run for the 41-33 victory.

L. Groves tallied 12 to lead North Clay. Altamont was led by Shafer with 15.

In the eighth-grade contest, North Clay won 52-33. North Clay led 27-8 at halftime and never looked back.

Casolari tallied 14 for the winners while Weidner added 10. Altamont was led by McCammon with eight.
