Suns Suffer 16th Straight Defeat

The Phoenix Suns lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers 111-98 Thursday night. It was the Suns’ franchise-record 16th straight loss, breaking their previous record of 15 set just last season.


Proposal Up To Lower Draft Age

The NBA has submitted a formal proposal to the Players Association to lower the draft-eligible age from 19 to 18. Should it be approved, the rule change isn’t expected to take effect until the 2022 draft.


Davis, Holiday Minutes Reduced

New Orleans Pelicans interim GM Danny Ferry met with Anthony Davis this week and informed him the team would continue playing him, but will cut his minutes. The Pelicans also plan to reduce the minutes of point guard Jrue Holiday and give their young players more playing time.
