TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis Junior High School picked up two girls basketball wins over Sullivan Monday evening.

The Wooden Shoes won the seventh-grade encounter, 31-13 with a 23-6 first half. Kaitlyn Vahling and Sara Niemerg tallied nine points each for the winners who are now 8-2 on the season.

In eighth-grade play, T-town downed Sullivan, 37-7. T-town held Sullivan scoreless in the first half. Emily Konkel tallied 14 points for the Shoes who improve to 10-0.

 At Cowden

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City defeated Mulberry Grove in both seventh and eighth-grade action Monday.

CHBC improved to 8-2 with a 34-13 win in seventh-grade action. CHBC held a 22-3 halftime lead. Ruby Stuckemeyer tallied 13 points for the winners.

In eighth-grade action, CHBC picked up a 41-16 win and is now 9-1. Gracie Heckert scored 16 while Mady Wojcik tallied 12.
