SIUE Men's Basketball Given OVC Sportsmanship Award

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – SIUE men's basketball has been chosen as the recipient of the 2017-18 Ohio Valley Conference Team Sportsmanship Award.

"To be named the OVC Sportsmanship Award winner is a great testament to our players and their commitment to do things the right way," SIUE Head Coach Jon Harris said. "That is something we take a lot of pride in as a program. Regardless of what happens on the court, the progression of a young man to remain consistent through adversity is something that will lead to success on and off the court in the future."

This is the second time SIUE has earned the OVC Sportsmanship award in men's basketball, having also won the award following the 2011-2012 season.
