EHS Boys Open Regional Play Monday

Effingham High School will open regional play Monday at the Class 3A Paris Boys Basketball Regional.

The Hearts, seeded sixth, will take on 11th-seeded Paris at 7:30 p.m. The opening game of the evening will find eighth-seeded Olney against ninth-seeded Charleston at 6.

The winner of the Olney-Charleston contest will meet top-seeded Champaign Central at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The winner of the EHS vs. Paris contest will face No. 4 Tolono Unity at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The championship is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday and will be played at Ernie Eveland Gym. The winner of this regional advances to the Decatur Eisenhower Sectional March 6-9.

Game 4 -- Tolono Unity vs. Winner Game 2, 7 p.m.

Friday, March 2

Game 5 -- Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4, 7 p.m. (championship)
