EHS Boys Basketball, Cheerleaders, Pom Pon Squad Honored

Boys basketball award winners were, left to right, Reed Schafer, Sean Zerrusen, Michael Carie, Jared Minor, Frank Kasdorf, Jacob Donaldson, Grant Wolfe and Braydon Bone.

Effingham High School boys basketball players, cheerleaders and pom pon squad members were honored at a banquet at the Hearts Rock Cafe Saturday evening.

Braydon Bone picked up three awards for the Hearts. He was co-most valuable player with Michael Carie. Bone also claimed the Best Defensive Player award and the Highest Free Throw Percentage award. Carie also claimed the Most Rebounds award.

Grant Wolfe picked up three awards. Wolfe won the Most Assists, Most Three-Pointers Made and Outstanding Sophomore awards.

Sean Zerrusen claimed the Hustle award.  Reed Schafer and Jacob Donaldson won the Sixth Man award. Frank Kasdorf picked up the Most IMproved Player awrd. Jared Minor won the Coaches awrd.

Boys basketball letterwinners were, Braydon Bone, Frankie Kasdorf, Michael Carie, Kevin Daugherty, Reed Schafer, Brady Jackson, Brady Scott, Sean Zerrusen, Drew Vasquez, Jared Minor, Michael Woltman, Grant Wolfe, Jacob Donaldson, Brent Beals, Trevor Kreke, Kyle Morrow and Manager Jackson Woelfer.

Pom Pon award winners were, left to right, Mikayla Hanks, Kali Heckert, and Cierra Rush-Inman. Not pictured was Brandy Fulk.

Pom Pon award winners were Brandy Fulk for Most Improved, Cierra Rush-Inman for Sportsmanship, Mikayla Hanks for Most Outstanding Dancer and Kali Heckert for Showmanship.

Pom pon letterwinners were Kelly Keitel, Mikayla Hanks, Abbey Barnhart, Kali Heckert, Kelsey Curry, Kierra Carson, Brandy Fulk, McKenzie Crowell, Calli Fritcher, Courtney Williamson, Lauren Fox, Kirsten Vollmer, Cierra Rush-Inman, Sophia Ballard and Cairra Leasher.

Cheerleading award winners were, left to right, Hailey Marsh, Claire Niebrugge, Madi Woelfer, Victoria Garren and Jessica Miller.

Winning Cheerleading awards were Claire Niebrugge for Most Outstanding Cheerleader, Madi Wolfer for Dedication, Jessica mILler for Heart of the TEam and Tori Garren and Hailey Marsha shared the Most Improved award.

Cheerleading letterwinners were Jessica Miller, Madi Woelfer, Bayli Crain, Claire Niebrugge, Morgan Papa, Victoria Garren Katelyn Lybarger, Anna Habing, Brianne Boggs, Meredith Wendling, Grace Lybarger, Hailey Marsh, Mackenzie Lewis and Chloe Larimore.
