Wizards Sneak Past Bulls In Game Two

(Chicago, IL) -- The Wizards leave Chicago with a 2-0 lead in their Eastern Conference quarterfinals series with Washington pulling out a 101-99 victory in overtime at the United Center. Kirk Hinrich missed two free throws with two seconds left in the extra session to clinch the win for Washington. Chicago went into the fourth quarter leading by five then the Wizards held them to 29-percent shooting the rest of the way. Bradley Beal scored 11 of his 26 points in the final quarter and OT. John Wall posted 16 points, seven assists and five rebounds for Washington, which hosts Game Three on Friday. D.J. Augustin had a team-high 25 points and seven assists off the bench in the loss. Joakim Noah chipped in 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Taj Gibson contributed 22 and 10 boards.


Pacers Smoke Hawks In Game Two

(Indianapolis, IN) -- The Pacers came back from the dead with a 41-15 run in the second half to crush the Hawks, 101-85, in Game Two of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Top-seeded Indiana and eighth-seeded Atlanta will head to Philips Arena on Thursday with everything evened up at one. Paul George led the way in the victory with 27 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals. Luis Scola added 20 points off the bench. The Hawks were winning by four at the half and poised to take a 2-0 lead in the series, but everything fell apart. Atlanta shot 29-percent as a team in the second half and 2-of-13 from behind the arc. Paul Milsap had a team-high 19 points in the loss.


Raptors Bounce Back Against Nets In Game Two

(Toronto, Ontario) -- The Raptors turned the table on the Nets in Game Two of their opening round series to pull out a 100-95 win at the Air Canada Centre.  DeMar DeRozan scored 17 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter. Amir Johnson added 16 points and nine rebounds, while Jonas Valanciunas had a double-double with 15 points and 14 boards. The series heads back to Brooklyn all knotted up at one for Game Three on Friday. After coming up clutch down the stretch in Game One, Paul Pierce missed a three-pointer with 24 seconds left that would have given the Nets the lead. Pierce finished 2-for-11 with seven points. Joe Johnson paced Brooklyn with 18 points.
