(Boston, MA) -- The Boston Red Sox capped a huge comeback with Jarrod Saltalamacchia's walkoff RBI single in the ninth to grab a 6-5 win over the Detroit Tigers in Game Two of the American League Championship Series from Fenway Park Sunday night.
David Ortiz smacked a game-tying grand slam in the eighth inning for the Sox, who were being no-hit into the sixth inning by Detroit's Max Scherzer.
The best-of-seven series is now tied at one and shifts to Detroit for Tuesday's Game Three.
The National League Championship Series resumes tonight in Los Angeles when the Dodgers host the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cards have a 2-0 series lead after winning each of the first two at home.
Adam Wainwright will take the mound for St. Louis against Dodgers rookie Hyun-Jin Ryu. First pitch is set for 7:07pm.
