North Clay/Clay City defeated Wayne City 14-0 Thursday. NC/CC is 11-8 on the season, 3-4 in National Trail Conference action.

Dieterich posted a 15-4 thumping of Odin Thursday.

The Movin Maroons scored five runs in the first inning, two in the second, seven runs in the third, and a run in the fourth on their way to the big win. Dieterich banged out 17 hits in the contest.

Andrew Hall went the distance in the five-inning win for Dieterich, giving up just one earned run on five hits and six walks. He struck out six.

The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes downed the Altamont Indians 10-3 Thursday.

The Shoes scored single runs in the first two innings, then scored three times in the third and five runs in the seventh, pounding out 11 hits in the process.

Altamont got a run on the board in the first, then scored twice in the fifth, totaling five hits in the contest.

Garrett Gaddis pitched a complete game for Teutopolis, allowing just one earned run on five hits, walking five and fanning five.

Dillan Elam, Aden McManaway, Ethan Robbins, Nathan Stuemke and Kaden Davis all pitched for the Indians.
