Four Area Players To Be Honored At White Sox Game

One Class 3A and three Class 1A baseball players from the area will be introduced before the Chicago White Sox vs. New York Yankees game Wednesday night.

The four players earned All-State honors in their class at the end of the spring baseball season.

Area Class 1A players receiving  All-State status were Eli Levitt (St. Anthony), Mason Robinson (Altamont) and Aidan Dodson (South Central).

The lone Class 3A area player was Effingham High School's Josh McDevitt.

The area players, along with other Illinois All-State players, will be honored. There were 20 listed in Class 1A, 23 in Class 2A, 26 in Class 3A and 29 in Class 4A.

The players will be introduced before the game which begins at 7:10 p.m.
