Altamont took a 2-0 lead in Saturday's game. With one out in the first, Jared Hammer, Nathan Stuemke and Kienon Eirhart delivered back-to-back-to-back base hits. With the bases loaded, an error by Max Koenig allowed Hammer and Stuemke to score.

St. Anthony came right back with three runs in the second inning. Aiden Lauritzen led off the frame with a single. With two outs, Will Hoene walked, Ryan Schmidt singled home Lauritzen and Beau Adams tripled home Hoene and Schmidt to make it 3-2 St. Anthony.

Altamont tied the game in the sixth. Dillan Elam doubled to lead off the inning and a ground ball by Eli Miller brought Elam home with the tying run.

Altamont scored twice in the ninth inning to take a 5-3 lead. Nathan Shepard singled to start the inning and Mason Robinson singled. A base hit by Hammer scored Shepard to put the Indians ahead and a single by Stuemker scored Robinson to give the Indians a two-run lead.

The lead was short-lived, though, as a leadoff walk to Brock Jansen, a base hit by Hoene, a walk to Schmidt, a ground ball by Eli Levitt to drive in one run and a base hit by Brock Fearday to bring home Hoene with the tying run made it 5-5 at the end of nine.

St. Anthony finally ended the game when a leadoff single by Koenig, a sacrifice by Brock Jansen and a game-winning hit by Hoene brought home Koenig to give the Bulldogs the one-run win.
