Cardinals Clinch Series Win Over Cubs

The St. Louis Cardinals clinched a series win with a 6-4 victory over the Chicago Cubs Tuesday night at Wrigley Field.

Each team scored in the first before the Cardinals scored three times in the third innings. The Cubs responded with two runs in the bottom of the inning to pull within 4-3. The Cubs tied the game on a Christopher Morel home run in the sixth, but the Cardinals plated two runs in the ninth to claim the win.

The series finale is tonight at 6:40pm as Cubs lefthander Justin Steele square off against the Cardinals' Jordyn Montgomery.
