Shortstop Carlos Correa has accepted a 13-year, $350 million deal with the San Francisco Giants. It’s the biggest deal ever for the Giants.

Just 13 months ago, Correa reportedly turned down a five-year, $160 million offer from the Houston Astros. Correa was an Astro when he won Rookie of the Year in 2015. He was an All-Star in 2017, and helped the Astros win the World Series that year.

Former Mets Pitchers Headed To Other Teams

Former New York Mets starting pitcher Chris Bassitt is going to the Toronto Blue Jays for a reported $63 million over three years. Bassitt was with the Mets for just one season after six seasons with the Oakland A’s.

Former Mets All-Star pitcher Noah Syndergaard is joining the Los Angeles Dodgers in a one-year, $13 million deal, ‘The Los Angeles Times’ reports.

Syndergaard had a sterling career with the Mets before arm trouble caused him to miss the entire 2020 season and most of 2021.
