The Philadelphia Phillies did not want to head back to San Diego and Bryce Harper made sure the Phillies closed out the San Diego Padres on Sunday.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, the defending NL MVP hit what turned out to be the series sealing, two-run home run to send the Philadelphia Phillies to their first World Series since 2009 with the final score of 4-3.

Jansen Will Be Free Agent

Kenley Jansen will be a free agent this offseason after signing a one-year deal with the Atlanta Braves.

Jansen was recently spotted in Los Angeles where he told ‘TMZ Sports’ he would consider re-signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers saying, “We'll see what's out there.” Jansen said it will come down to whatever is the best decision for his family.
