Neoga, Teutopolis Open Junior High State Tournament Play Today

Neoga and Teutopolis will see their first action today in junior high baseball state tournament play.

Both the 1A Tournament, where Neoga will be playing, and the 2A Tournament, where Teutopolis will compete, will take place at Eastside Centre in East Peoria.

Neoga will take on Colchester West Prairie at 2pm today. Neoga is 16-6, while West Prairie is 16-4. 

If Neoga wins, they will play twice on Saturday. Their semi-final game would be at 11:30am. If they would win that contest, they would play for the championship at 4pm. If they would lose that contest, they would play for third place at 2pm. 

Teutopolis will play Maroa-Forsyth at 4:30pm today in quarterfinal action. If they win, they would play in the semifinals at 12 noon Saturday. If they would win that game, they would play for the championship at 4:30pm. If they would lose that game, they would play for third place at 2:30pm.
