Teutopolis Falls in Quarterfinals of 2A State Tournament

Teutopolis lost its quarterfinal game of the 2A State Junior High Baseball Tournament Friday, 6-0 in East Peoria.

Teutopolis was held to one hit in the game, a single by Landyn Thoele.

Gavin Addis pitched the first six innings for TTown, allowing six runs on 10 hits with two walks and three strikeouts. Inman Wendt pitched the seventh, and allowed a walk with one strikeout.

Teutopolis finished its season with a 14-4 record.
