Tampa Bay Rays rookie Wander Franco hit a three-run home run and doubled in his major league debut Tuesday, in a game that the Rays went on to lose 9-5 to the Boston Red Sox.

The 20-year-old Franco, who’s considered the best prospect in the minor leagues, hit his homer in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh after being called up from Triple-A Durham earlier in the day.
