Bloemer to Play For Delta State University

Jordan Bloemer

Jordan Bloemer will be continuing his academic and athletic career at Delta State University.in Cleveland, Mississippi. Bloemer was a graduate of North Clay (Louisville) High School and has been playing for Kaskaskia College.

He was named Pitcher of the Year, Freshman of the Year and was named to the Great Rivers Athletic Conference for the KC Blue Devils baseball program.

Bloemer pitched 54 innings this past spring for KC as the team finished 23-18 overall and fourth in the Great Rivers Athletic Conference.  He ended the season with a 3-1 record and a 2.50 ERA.  He finished with 60 strikeouts and only nine walks.

Jordan is the son of Andy and Diona Griffy and Ali and Brian Bloemer.
