Nationals Take 2-0 World Series Lead

The Washington Nationals used a six-run rally in the seventh inning to throttle the Houston Astros 12-3 Wednesday night.

The Nationals now have a 2-0 lead in the World Series, which moves to Washington Thursday night.

Gymnast Simone Biles threw out the ceremonial first pitch before Wednesday night’s Game 2 of the World Series . . . but not before she did a flip on the mound.

 

Cubs Name Ross Manager Today

The Chicago Cubs will reportedly name David Ross as their next manager today. Ross was part of the Cubs’ 2016 World Series winning team and has worked mainly as a broadcaster since then.
