BEECHER CITY -- Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City tallied a 13-0 win in five innings over Dieterich in junior high baseball action Monday.

CHBC ran off to a 9-0 opening inning lead then tacked on two in the second and two in the fourth.

Clayton Wojcik and Kyle Lamb combined to throw a no-hitter. Wojcik went the first two innings and Lamb finished out.

Leading CHBC was Gage Lorton, Layne Jones and Dacotah Waters with two singles each. Lorton and Jones had two RBI each while Waters had one.

At Beecher City

At Teutopolis

Teutopolis improved its record to a perfect 11-0 with a 2-0 win over Sigel St. Michael Monday.

The Wooden Shoes took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when an error scored the run.

Tyler Pruemer picked up the victory on the mound, allowing no runs on two hits over five innings, walking one and striking out three.

Zac Niebrugge had a double for the Shoes while Pruemer had a single and drove in a run.

St. Michael had three hits.

Jasper County claimed a 10-1 win over Casey-Westfield in action Monday.

Jasper County had a total of 12 hits led by Parker Wolf with two doubles, M. Meinhart a single, double and an RBI, P. Harris two singles and two RBI and Burgener with a double.

Wolf was the winning pitcher, going 5.2 innings, allowing five hits, two walks and striking out nine.
