Braves, Donaldson Agree On Contract

The Atlanta Braves and free-agent third baseman Josh Donaldson have agreed on a one-year, $23 million contract. The deal is pending a physical following an assortment of injuries last year that limited Donaldson to just 16 games after being traded to Cleveland at the deadline.


Twins Claim Cron Off Waivers

The Minnesota Twins have claimed Tampa Bay Rays first baseman and designated hitter C.J. Cron off of waivers. Cron hit a career-high 30 home runs for the Rays last season.


Red Sox Players Get Bonus

It paid to win the World Series for the Boston Red Sox as each player will get a $416,000 bonus from the playoff pool. It also paid to lose the World Series as Los Angeles Dodgers’ players will each get $267,000.
