Jasper Post #20 Bounces Back w/Win at State Junior Tournament, But Lost Again to Breese

The Jasper American Legion Post #20 bounced back from a Friday loss to defeat Shelby County Posts #289/611/725, 9-3, Saturday morning at the Junior American Legion State Tournament in Quincy, but then lost again to Breese to end their play at the tournament.
The Saturday afternoon loss to Breese was considerably closer, 4-3, than their loss to the Breese squad on Friday, 8-0.
The Jasper American Legion team finished third in the state tournament.
