Trudy I. Stupec, 62, of Teutopolis, IL, passed away at 8:06 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Home, Effingham, with Pastor Jack Stoops officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery, Oblong, IL. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Trudy was born on August 8, 1949 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the daughter of Arden and Edna Ilene (Miller) Snearley. She married Frank Stupec on May 22, 1990 in Salem, and he survives. Trudy was a member of New Life Tabernacle Church, Sullivan. She was a member of Grow in Illinois and T.O.P.S. She enjoyed going to the Effingham Senior Center. She was a bookkeeper for a construction company and worked for the railroad in Chicago.
Trudy is survived by her husband, Frank Stupec of Teutopolis; sister, Nancy (Jim) James of Talkeetna, Alaska; brother, David (Robin) Snearley of Newton; stepson, Aaron (Trina) Stupec of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
