Barbara Ann Kralman, 72 of Teutopolis, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at her daughter’s home in Effingham.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham.

Barbara was born October 20, 1951 in Vandalia, the daughter of Roy E. And Nina (Crothers) Geddes. She married H. Thomas “Tom” Kralman on January 20, 1984 and he preceded her in death in 2019. Barbara was a kind soul who would do anything for anyone at anytime. One of her favorite hobbies was sewing and quilting. She tried to make everyone she knew a quilt of some sort. Barbara loved her children so much, but her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved watching her grandchildren play and listening to them laugh the most. She fought so hard for the last 20 years and now is the best guardian angel. She will be missed so deeply by all. You will find comfort within the hummingbirds.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Glenn) Shadwell of Metropolis, Cassandra (Shane) Monnet of Brookport and Julie (Jared) Mayhaus of Effingham; son, Dale (Amy) Doty of Beecher City; boyfriend, Dennis Henry; sisters, Kathy (Randy) Bailey, Janet (Dale) Reeves, and Brenda Konigsbauer; grandchildren, Shawn, Shelbie, Miranda, Sarah, Frank, Gena, Hanna, Charity, Dalton, Aleah, Hailey, Colton, Bailey, Corben, Bennett, Dylan, Kortney, and Isabella; nineteen great-grandchildren.
