Roberta ‘Robbie’ Jayne, 59, of Newton, IL, died at 1:22 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Evansville, IN.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont, with burial to follow at Union Cemetery, Altamont. Memorials may be to the family.
Robbie was born on Thursday, July 30, 1964 in Centralia. She had been a dietary manager at Newton Care Center and was a homemaker.
She is survived by: her son, Thomas Moore, Decatur; daughters, Bessie (Matt) Sargent, Decatur, Becky Moore, Newton, Ashley (Matthew Denson) Atnip, Caseyville, and Amy (Tyler Smith) Kollman, Newton; and 11 Grandchildren.
Robbie was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.
