Nevada was born August 10, 2003 in Effingham, the daughter of Travis and Christina (Thoele) Watkins. She was a 2021 graduate of Cumberland High School and was currently employed by Patterson Technology as a support specialist. Nevada loved working with technology and being able to help people with their problems. She was such a gentle, kind-hearted soul and loved all her family and friends deeply. Nevada enjoyed going camping, fishing, kayaking, and going to concerts with them.

Her companion and deepest love was her foster dog, Rowan. He was her baby. She would go to the moon for him. Nevada thought everyone should be a foster parent to a pet.

You’ll never meet a more purest soul.

Nevada is survived by her parents; big brother, Dominic Thoele; grandparents, Norbert & Angie Thoele, Cammy Watkins, and Suzanne Mette & Mike Laue; uncles, Adam (Brittany) Mette and Braydon Shields; aunt, Brittany (Toby) Ault; nieces and nephews, Makayla & Gabe Ault, Abbagayle & Bostyn Mette, and Paydon Branaman; and numerous great-aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Tim Watkins; great-grandparents, Bill & Janet Sehi, Ralph & Deloris Thoele, Leonard & Imelda Mette, Gene & Carol Nettleton; aunts, Amanda and Paige Thoele.

The world has lost a wonderful young lady and it will never be the same.
