James Lewis Wyatt, age 82, of Ingraham, Illinois, passed away at 6:25 PM – Monday, September 11, 2023, at his home.

James was born on February 3, 1941, in Rural Clay County, Illinois, the son of Hedden and Susie (Butler) Wyatt. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving from November 18, 1963, until his honorable discharge November 17, 1965. James was united in marriage to Christel Honold on February 1, 1969, in Aurora, Illinois. James was a truck driver for many years and was able to see a lot of the country during his travels. James was an avid hunter and fisherman for many years and loved being outdoors. James also enjoyed dappling in woodworking. James loved his wife and children and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

James is survived by his wife Christel Wyatt of Ingraham, Illinois; Son-John (Stacy) Wyatt of Glastonbury, Connecticut; Son-Peter (Mayumi) Wyatt of San Mateo, California; Daughter-Beth Lindemann of Ingraham, Illinois; Six Grandchildren-Olivia, Sophia, Kai, Nolen, Manoa and Austin; Three Great-Grandchildren-Reagan, Ryleigh and TJ.

James was preceded in death by his parents, brother John William Wyatt, sister Maxine Alcoke, sister Imogene Galloway and son-in-law Timothy Lindemann.
