Betty Ann (Reeder) Clark, age 87, of Beecher City, IL passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, in her home.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023, and from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023, in the Beecher City Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023, in the Beecher City Church of Christ with Minister Kevin Allen officiating. Burial will take place in Hubbartt Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Betty Ann’s honor to the Beecher City Church of Christ or the Beecher City Kluthe Center Meals on Wheels. Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City is assisting the family.

Betty Ann was born in Beecher City on November 28, 1935, the daughter of Earl and Juanita Reeder. She has lived in Beecher City most of her life. Betty Ann married Max Eugene Clark on January 21, 1956, and he preceded her in death on October 18, 2008. They were married 52 wonderful years.

Betty Ann dedicated many hours to various organizations; The Cross, Helping Hands Food Pantry, FISH, Heartland Christian Village and Enduring Freedom. She enjoyed playing her washboard in the Kitchen Band.   She worked as an election judge for many years and was a Liberty Township Trustee. Up until her time of passing she was the Site Supervisor at the C.E.F.S. Meals on Wheels in Beecher City. She was an active member of the Beecher City Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children: Don (Carolyn) Clark of Beecher City, Darrell (Rhonda) Clark of Ponte Vedra, FL, Randy (Tina) Clark of Effingham, and Linda (Ed) Schairbaum of Fort Worth, TX; 13 grandchildren: Katie (Jamey) Himes, Kari (Thad) McElroy, Kyle Clark, Taylor (Kyle) Feldkamp, Teneale (Lance) Molt, Lance (Ellie) Clark, Jacob (Katherine) Clark, Amber (Russ) Waldhoff, Cody (Molly) Clark, Clark Schairbaum, Tori Schairbaum, Nicki (Dan) Rimkus and Kaycee Schairbaum; 19 great-grandchildren: Zach Apke, Olivia Fulk, Colton McElroy, Paxton Clark, Colton Himes, Holden Clark, Everly Clark, Cooper Himes, Roy Feldkamp, Hank Feldkamp Walker Clark, Jayla Waldhoff, Zuri Waldhoff, Bryn Waldhoff, Rielle Waldhoff, Harper Clark, Max Clark, Cecilia Clark, and Georgia Clark; and sister Carol (Larry) Young of Shumway.

Betty Ann was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Merrill Reeder.

Betty Ann’s legacy will live on in the love and memories she leaves behind. Her family and friends will remember her as a hard-working woman with kindness, and generosity. While we mourn Betty Ann’s passing, we have peace and joy in knowing that she is now reunited with those who went before her.
