Kevin R. Forson, 60, of Beecher City, IL died at 10:48 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2023 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, Effingham.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023 at St. Bonaventure Cemetery, rural St. Elmo with Don Thomas officiating. Visitation will be for 2 hours prior to service time also at the cemetery. Gieseking Funeral Home, Brownstown is assisting the family with arrangements and memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

Kevin was born on Thursday, October 25, 1962 in Vandalia, IL to Joe and Patricia (Moore) Forson. He married LeAnne Miller on September 7, 1987. He was affiliated with the Baptist Church. He worked in the oil fields and in concrete construction with WRW Construction, Ty Moore and Dave Goodin. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, auctions, and tinkering.

He is survived by: his wife of over 35 years, LeAnne Forson of Beecher City; sons, Lucas (Megan) Ledbetter of Altamont, Dillon (Kristen) Forson of Brownstown, and Travis (Mackenzie) Forson of St. Elmo; daughters, Charlee (Josias) Hernandez of LaGrange, TX, JoHanna (Mike) Howell of Brownstown, Toni (Joe) Reynolds of Beecher City, and Chelsey (Bruce) Wells of Brownstown; his fur-children, Dandy, Clyde, Sissy and Jake; brothers, Joe (Kathy) Forson of Vandalia and Brian Forson of St. Elmo; sisters, Becky Ingram of Ponder, TX, Kim Stoneburner of Decatur, TX and Joni (Jason) Myers of Assumption; 16 grandchildren, Abbi, Eli, Wyatt, Weston, Madison, Dalton, Zoie, Waylon, Morgan, Chris, Aubree, Karter, Makenna, Samuel, Edith and Emery; uncle, Mickey (Fern) Moore of Brownstown; aunt, Joyce Moore of St. Elmo; 3 sisters-in-law; 4 brothers-in-law; father-in-law, Lamont Miller of Beecher City; several nieces and nephews.

Kevin was preceded in death by: his parents; grandparents, uncle, Jimmy Moore; mother-in-law, Mary Miller.
