Keaton was born October 13, 2005 to Mark S. Gabel and Lea Ann Miller.

He is survived in life by his parents; sisters, Vayda and Lili (twin); grandparents, Delores Stewart, Mark L. Gabel, and Don Lawhead.

Keaton was a member of FCA, Mustang Outreach, awarded 3-year honor roll, Presidents Award for Academic Excellence, Student of the Month several times, and one of eight 8th grade boys to be nominated for the American Legion Award. He mentored not only in academics but also at the hospital helping others facing life-threatening illnesses.

He loved board games, the TV show "Survivor", and a good mystery book.

Keaton had a way of lighting up the room when he was present. He maintained a positive fun-loving attitude throughout his 4-year battle with cancer. His long-term goal was to become a pediatric oncologist working with his mentor, Dr. Deepika Bhatla, at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. He felt his journey could be an inspiration and assistance to others facing the same challenges.

Keaton was preceded in death by his brother, Jacob Levitt; grandmother, Glenda Donsbach; along with several great aunts, uncles and grandparents.
