Dana Shelby LeCrone, 31, of Centralia, IL, formerly of Effingham, IL, was received into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Bryan Manor in Centralia.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Christ’s Church, 2511 S. Veterans Drive, Effingham, IL 62401. A private burial will be held at a later date at Glenwood Cemetery in Shelbyville, IL. Arrangements are in the care of Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham.

Dana was born on December 4, 1990, in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of Jim and Debbie (Deters) LeCrone.

Dana overcame many obstacles in her young life. After everything, her family rejoices in her ultimate and everlasting healing. She is now perfect, in her perfect, forever home with Jesus. She is restored in all her brilliance! Dana loved her family, music, and car rides. She was resilient. Her family is grateful to all the people who lovingly cared for Dana through her school years and those in her church family of Christ’s Church, those at Community Support Systems, caregivers, as well as, the nurses and staff of Bryan Manor.

Dana’s family includes her mother, Debbie LeCrone of Effingham; sister, Lisa Corcoran of North Canton, OH; brother, Jared (Maria) LeCrone of Mt. Vernon; nephews Matt (Taylor) Corcoran of Cincinnati, OH; Patrick Corcoran of Wilmington, NC; Tyler and Quincy LeCrone of Mt. Vernon; nieces, Amelia, Everly, and Tylynn also of Mt. Vernon, as well as, various loved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her father, Jim LeCrone and grandparents, Juanita and Henry Vonderide, Clarence Deters, and Lois and Bill LeCrone.
