Margaret M. Pruemer, 92 of Teutopolis passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to the time of mass Friday morning in St. Clare Hall. Memorial donations may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice. Margaret was born December 13, 1929 in Teutopolis, the daughter of George and Mary (Runde) Pruemer. She worked as a bookkeeper for Siemer Milling in Teutopolis, retiring in 1991 after 39 years. Margaret was a member of St. Francis Church in Teutopolis and the St. Francis Council of Catholic Women.

Margaret is survived by her nephews and nieces, Gene Pruemer, Dan Pruemer, Leo Pruemer, Mary Carol Bierman, Alice Goeckner, Pat Hacke, Mark Pruemer, Jane Pruemer, Jim Pruemer and Linda Wrincik; numerous great and great-great nephews and nieces.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fr. Alexis, Roger and Albert; infant sister, Alma and nephew, Karl.
