Roger Franklin Denham (78) of Windsor

Roger Franklin Denham, 78, of Windsor, IL passed away at 1:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, in Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. 

Roger was born on February 18, 1944, in Windsor, the son of Franklin “Gene” and Mary (Deckard) Denham.  Roger and his four siblings were raised on the family farm in Windsor which fostered his love for animals especially his dogs, Spike, Sophie, Sammy and Simon.  Roger was a 1962 graduate of Windsor High School.  He worked at Brown Shoe Company in both Sullivan and Charleston and retired from R.R. Donnelley in Mattoon.  Roger was a member of the Allenville Christian Church. 

Surviving are his three brothers:  Ronald Denham of Olney, Rodney (Connie) Denham of Strasburg and Randy (Keela) Denham of Windsor; sister, Ruth Ann (Dale) Barrett of Manistee, MI; two nieces; two nephews; one great niece and two great nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022, in Windsor Cemetery with Pastor Bob Vail officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Roger’s name to the Allenville Christian Church and mailed to Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, 207 N. Oak, Windsor, IL 61957.  Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor is assisting the family.
