Margaret "Maggie" Clare Doedtman, 62, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born April 6, 1959 in Quincy, Illinois.

Maggie lived in Illinois until 1993, when she and her family moved to Raytown, Missouri. She worked from 1987 until 2021 in the tax industry. She loved traveling, reading, singing, and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister and will be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Victor (Vic) Doedtman; her three children, Nicholas (Nick) Doedtman, Daniel (Dan) Doedtman, Maria Doedtman; granddaughter, Layla Doedtman; her father, Robert (Bob) Broeker; parents-in-law, Paul and Diane Doedtman; and numerous other family members.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maureen Broeker; and three brothers-in-law, John Doedtman, LeRoy Griffin Jr., and Tobias (Toby) Doedtman.

Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, March 25, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home, Effingham, IL. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church Cemetery in Green Creek, IL. 

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 5101 Blue Ridge Cutoff, Kansas City, MO on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
