Myron Melvin White (82) of Fenton, MO

Myron Melvin White, 82, of Fenton, MO, passed away on January 29, 2022.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham, IL. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a Watson Cemetery in Watson, IL.

Myron was born on March 11, 1939, the son of John and Magoline (Davis) White. Myron married Gail R.Evans on April 21, 1967. They lived most their life in Fenton, Missouri.

Myron was a devoted and loyal husband. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandkids. Myron was retired from the Chrysler manufacturing plant in Fenton and he had a large interest in classic cars. He loved the ocean, Bob Dylan, Clint Eastwood, and old cowboy shows. Myron enjoyed going to his local church on Sunday and bible study. He was happy living a quiet life in Fenton,Missouri with his family.

Myron leaves behind his children Paul White, Dan White, Ben White and Peggy Callow. Myron had six grandchildren that he loved dearly – Katie, Clayton, Emiliah, Jenna, Evan, and Ryan. Myron was the fourth child in a large family. He is survived by his brothers Robert White, Stanley White and sisters Roxanna Osborn and Rita Ebbs. Myron is preceded in death by his wife Gail, and brothersJohn Wesley White and Branson White.
