Roy E. Alexander (82) of Willow Hill

Roy E. Alexander, age 82, of Willow Hill, Illinois passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2021 at the Crain Funeral Home, Newton, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Friday, December 24 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Brockville Cemetery, rural Newton.
Roy was born on July 23, 1939 in Jasper County, Illinois the son of Cecil and Ruby (Leffler) Alexander. On December 12, 1960, Roy married Florence L. Adams. She preceded him death on January 3, 2005. Roy retired from Road Master in Olney, Illinois. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Olney, Illinois. Roy enjoyed deer hunting in his free time.
Roy will be lovingly remembered by his son Rodney Alexander of Indianapolis, Indiana.
His parents, wife Florence, brothers Kenneth L. Alexander, Donald R. Alexander and Paul C. Alexander and an infant sister preceded him in death.
