Lyndale Frederick Lude, age 65, of Dieterich, Illinois, passed away at 9:26 PM Friday, August 27, 2021, at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.
Funeral services celebrating Lyndale’s life will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois, with Mike Knepper officiating. Burial will be in the Dieterich Village Cemetery in Dieterich, Illinois. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the funeral home. Lyndale was born on October 30, 1955, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Elmer and Treva (Harper) Lude. He graduated from Dieterich High School in 1974. Lyndale was Operating Engineer and a member of the Operation Engineer Local Union 841. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Dieterich. Lyndale enjoyed farming, tractor pulling and spending time with his grandson, Hayden.
Lyndale is survived by: Children – Joseph Lude of Bruner, Missouri, Jennifer Lude (Kirk Hyden) of Leander, Texas; Grandson – Hayden Fisher of Leander, Texas; Brother – Bill Lude of Whitehouse, Tennessee; Other Survivors – Robyn Lude of Leander, Texas and Becky Groves of Dieterich, Illinois.
Lyndale was preceded in death by his parents.
