Ken Gouchenouer, Jr., 51, of Springfield, died at 5:11 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center.

Ken was born on August 21, 1969, in Effingham, the son of Kenneth E. Gouchenouer, Sr. and Joan Spence Gouchenouer. He married Jonna Cox, in Springfield, on July 16, 1993.

Ken graduated from Altamont High School where he held a record in track. He then attended Western University. Ken was the owner of K-SAT of Illinois and worked in IT support at Horace Mann. He loved golf and spending time with his grandchildren. Ken enjoyed watching sports, especially the Illini, the Blues, the Cardinals, and the Chicago Bears.

He is survived by his wife, Jonna; father, Ken (Linda) Gouchenouer of Altamont; mother; Joan Gouchenouer of Springfield; children, Justin (Brooke) Becker of Athens, Kayla McClaren of Vandalia, Shelby (Ashton) Stephenson of Jacksonville, and Benjamin Gouchenouer of Springfield; grandchildren, Lincoln Becker, Connor McClaren, and Tessa Stephenson; siblings, Toby (Melissa) Gouchenouer, and Cassie (John) Will; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield.

Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating.
