Barry Lelan Nash, 55, of Ramsey, IL passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Lakeland Rehab & Healthcare Center in Effingham.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-5:00pm Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Vandalia Moose Lodge #1447; friends are welcome to come and go and stay and visit. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Barry Nash to help with medical expenses or to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Ramsey. Online condolences can be expressed by clicking here.

Barry Nash was born May 17, 1966, in Robinson, IL, the son of L. Paul and Ann S. (Rardin) Nash.  He married Mary Elise James on July 26, 1986; together they shared nearly 35 of years of marriage and raised two children. After earning his Master’s Degree from SIUC, Barry worked in the agriculture industry for 30 years. He had a love for his job and the outdoors; he and his family enjoyed camping and riding ATVs with friends. Barry was also a lover of all things music, especially Van Halen, passionate about his 1973 Ford Mach 1 Mustang, and anything football. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ramsey.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Nash of Ramsey, IL; father, L. Paul Nash and wife Mary of Martinsville; son, Brayden Nash and wife Hayley of Normal; daughter, Dayken and husband Derek Underdahl of Mukwonago, WI; granddaughter, Brynlee Underdahl; baby Underdahl due in November; sister; Kelli and husband Scott Inboden of Westfield; nephews, Reid Inboden and wife Marney, and Riley Inboden and wife Carley; many more nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annetta “Ann” Nash.
