Patricia A. Mason (73) of Mattoon

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 10- 11 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Patricia was born February 25, 1948, in Effingham, the daughter of James and Lucille (Levitt) Bowlin. Patricia was a beautician, even having her very own shop. She also waitressed for many years too. Patricia enjoyed playing cards, board games, puzzles and ceramics. She liked baking and cooking for the family holidays. Patricia loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a selfless person and will be greatly missed by all.
Patricia is survived by her children, Ronald Mason of Terre Haute, Ind. and Kelly (Jeff) Stanley of Hammond; grandchildren, Amber Mason (Trey Milligan), Ronald Mason III, Jack (CJ) Mason, Tim Mason, Latasha Mason, Ashley (Jordan) Pollock, Chantel (Glen) McComas, Brandon Stanley, Kaley (fiancé, Richard Wright) Stanley, and Lacey Stanley; 25 great-grandchildren, brothers, James (Marcia) Bowlin and Richard (Sue) Bowlin, both of Effingham; and sisters, Charlotte (Dennis) Crumrin of Arthur and Debbie Wells of Mattoon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Vivian Bowlin in infancy, Alice Barker, and Loretta Bowlin; brothers, Jackie Bowlin and Clarence Eugene Bowlin; and niece, Angela Quast.
