Terry Lee Goodrich, 67, of Gays, IL passed away at 7:50 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at home with loved ones by his side.

Terry was born on March 8, 1954, in Atwood, TN, the son of James and LaVerne (Killins) Goodrich. Terry and Jocanna S. Curry were united in holy matrimony on December 11, 1993, in Windsor, IL, and were blessed with 27 years of marriage. Terry was a truck driver for 47 years, the last 15 years he drove for Rural King before retiring in October 2020. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and tinkering in his shed with his buddy, Jesse.

Surviving are his wife, Jocanna Goodrich of Gays, IL; two children: Shawn (Brandie) Goodrich of Trenton, TN and Celecia Goodrich of Bradford, TN; three granddaughters: Kaylan, Brylee and Bryn Goodrich of Trenton, TN and in-laws, Joe (Eileen) Curry of Windsor, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Bonnie Kay and Jenny Fay.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021, in the Windsor Christian Church with Pastor Joe Stephens officiating. Burial will take place in Sand Creek cemetery in rural Windsor, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service in the Windsor Christian Church. Memorials may be made in Terry’s name to the American Breast Cancer Foundation or the Coles County Animal Shelter and mailed to Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, 207 N. Oak, Windsor, IL 61957.
