Mary Lou (Hardiek) Pfaff, 88, of Wooster, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at her home.

She was born December 16, 1932 in Effingham, IL. the second child of eight born to Ferdinand “Ferd” and Rose (Schwermine) Hardiek. She was a real blessing to her children, Mary Jean Amity of Walton Hills, OH, Mike (Cheryl) Birk of Columbus, OH, Cindy (Steve) Miko of Wooster, OH, Scott (Patti) Birk of Edmond, OK, Brian Birk of Wooster, OH, Tony (Angie) Birk of Katy, TX, and Lori (Chris) Tersigni of Wadsworth, OH, 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Don and Vic Hardiek of Dieterich, Bernie of Moline, IL; Sisters Rosalie (Don) Wente of Effingham, Elaine (Art) Haywood of Port Orchard, WA, Barbara Jean (Bill) Morgan of Benson, NC  and brother-in-law Gene Vonderheide of Freeburg, IL.

One sister, Marlene Vonderheide is deceased.

Mary Lou was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wooster, Ohio.
