Wanda C. McCollum, 90, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021, in Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia, IL

Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, with Pastor Tom Goodell officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery Vandalia, IL, Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL and 1 hour before service Wednesday at the church. Wanda was born November 8, 1930, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Charles & Ruth (Graves) Denton. Married L. Dale McCollum December 8, 1954, Vandalia, IL. Dale passed away Oct. 13, 1999 they had been married 2 months shy of 55 years, both battling lung cancer. Wanda was one of the youngest to graduate from the Vandalia High School at the age of 16. She was a Retired Beautician. Member of First United Methodist Church & the church's fellowship cook committee, the American Legion Auxiliary, both of Vandalia, IL, USBC Bowling Association and Melrose Chapter 243 O.E.S. She is survived by:

Son - Mike McCollum & Penny, Effingham, IL; Daughter - Cindy Bennett & Bill, Vandalia, IL: Grandchildren - Mindy & Steve Boswell and Cody McCollum & Alexandra, all of  Effingham, IL; Brittney & David Crye, Vandalia, IL and Great Grandchild Brinley Boswell.

Preceded in death by: Her Parents, Husband, Twin Brothers and an infant brother.
