Evelyn Starwalt (84) of Toledo

Evelyn Starwalt, 84, of Toledo, IL passed away at 12:40 PM Saturday, April 10, 2021 at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo. Burial will be in the Toledo Cemetery.
Evelyn was born on July 19, 1936 in Deer River, Minnesota the daughter of James Leo and Clara (McCall) Shupe. She married Carl Starwalt on September 3, 1955 in Greenup, IL.
She is survived by her husband; son, Ray (Lucy) Starwalt; grandchildren, Kevin Starwalt, Keith Starwalt, Drew Jackson, and Bailey Jackson; and great- grandchildren, Linkoln Starwalt, Isla Starwalt, and Nova Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim, Walt, and Carl Shupe; sister, Lois Carl; and daughter, Tammie Jackson.
Evelyn was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Greenup. She worked at the Rainbow Café in Toledo starting at the age of 14 and worked through her high school years. She also worked at KERN Manufacturing in Neoga for 25 years.
