Debra Ann Lilly, 67, of Neoga, Illinois was called home unto the Creator on Saturday, January 23, 2021 in rural Shelby County Illinois.

She came into being on October 1, 1953, born to Glen Mervill Rodgers and Agnes Lou Jeanie (Chatham). She attended elementary school in St. Elmo Junior, Senior, High School, earning her diploma in 1972. Debra obtained an EMT certificate in 1995 and then completed the Licensed Practical Nursing program, earning her associate degree on August 21, 1999. Debra worked for 17 years in a variety of skilled nursing facilities and a few home healthcare settings. She was very much loved and appreciated by her patients, their families and her fellow co-workers.

On Wednesday, October 27, 1982 Debra was united in Holy Matrimony with Dallas Brockton Lilly.

Debra is survived by Dallas "Brock" Lilly of Beecher City; her four children: James Hopper of Centralia, Nathanial Lilly of Beecher City, Heather Ann Lilly of Shumway and Ian Lilly (Heather Bartlett) of Beecher City; six grandchildren: Dakota Hopper of Beecher City, James Hopper of Mattoon, Marshall Hopper of Mattoon, Jonetta Glass, Mickaela Schoreck and Dustin Schoreck, all of Neoga; one great-granddaughter; brother, Joe Bill Rodgers of Cookeville, TN; sister, Susan Tibbetts (David) of Plymouth, MA; great aunts: Rosalyn Hartman and Wanda LaBounty; great uncle, Mickey Rogers and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Debra was proceeded in death by her parents; one great-granddaughter; one great-grandson; nephews: Nicholas Tibbetts, Joshua Rodgers and his mother, Donna (Kendall) Rodgers.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 29, 2021 in Spring Hill Cemetery in rural Beecher City. Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City is assisting the family.
