Marilynn was born on May 12,1929 in Newton, IL the daughter of Toney and Inez (Price) Smith. She married Ernest Weber on January 27,1957 at the First Presbyterian Church in Newton, Illinois. Marilynn was a mail order clerk at Norris Electric Co-op where she met Ernest. Following the birth of her only child she dedicated the rest of her life to her church and her family. She was the Church Secretary and Sunday School teacher for most of her adult life. She shared her love of art and nature with anyone who would care to listen. Marilynn never met a dog she didn’t like, and even though Ernest was an avid hunter it was her that cared for his prize bird dogs. In her eyes a perfect day would have been: a garage sale, an antique shop, and a walk through a flower garden.

She was a woman of few words with a heart of gold.

Marilynn is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ernest of Newton, Illinois; Child: Dr. Tony (Patricia) Weber of Altamont, Illinois; Grandchild: Lauren (Evan)Frederick of Goshen, Kentucky; Great-Grandchildren: Liam Frederick, Isaac Frederick.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
