Roger L. Esker, 72, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at his home in Teutopolis.
A private family funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery.
Roger was born July 27, 1948 in Teutopolis, the son of Louis and Matilda (Hoene) Esker. He worked for many years as a carpenter and was a member of St. Francis Church and the Teutopolis Knights of Columbus Council #2874.
Roger is survived by his brothers, Louis (Darlene) Esker of Effingham, Karen (Bruce) Weber of Teutopolis, Ruth (Bob) Einhorn of Lake Sara, Alice (Terry) Gephart of Effingham, Mike (Sanora) Esker of CA and Dave (Barb) Esker of Swansea; brother-in-law, David Probst.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marlene Probst; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Cathy Esker.
