Jeffrey Scott Griffith, age 49, of Chicago, Illinois passed away at 12:08 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his home in Chicago, Illinois.

Jeffrey was born on December 26, 1970 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Jay S. and Cheryl A. (Onstott) Griffith. He obtained his master’s degree from SIU and was a career counselor for several years.
He is survived by his father, Jay Griffith (wife Kathy “Gertie”) of Louisville, Illinois; daughters, Lucinda Packar of Florida and Tegan Griffith of Troy, Illinois; brother, Mike Griffith (wife Carrie) of Iola, Illinois; sister, Sara Griffith of Louisville, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Griffith.
